Review the below definitions to understand what to expect when purchasing an open box item from DOW. Open box items can be identified by part numbers that feature /O, /O2, /OPUP or /R added to the original part number.
Open Box (/O) — Items in this “Best” condition, the packaging has been opened and the product appears like new, and all parts and paperwork are included. Original packaging is in good condition or product is put into new packaging and able to be shipped.
Open Box (/O2) — Items in this “Better” condition show minor signs of use that affect the cosmetic appearance but have no impact on performance. This product may not be in the original packaging but includes all parts and accessories. Due to cosmetic appearance issues, we are unable to warranty physical damage, but we stand by the functionality of the product as well as its ability to be shipped based on this classification.
Pick-up Only (/OPUP) — Packaging has been opened and the product appears like new, and all parts are included. Original packaging is in poor condition and thus cannot be shipped. All items under this classification will not be supported by a freight claim if dealer requires shipment.
Refurbished (/R) — Refurbished items are repaired and restored to a like-new condition by the manufacturer or a third-party refurbishment company. This product carries a manufacturer warranty to dealer/end user. The products are verified to work properly and include all essential parts and accessories.
